9.30 -11.00 am: MEDITATION/DEEP RELAXATION with Peter – bring warm clothing as this meditation is practised in “shavasana” the ‘laying down’ pose and takes about an hour, followed by 20-30 minutes of quiet time.

11am:: tea and coffee in between

“Early days on the Hibiscus Coast”

This afternoon we are delighted to welcome our speaker Ruth Olsen with accounts of people and places from along this special coastline.  Ruth joined the Historical Society on moving to Orewa in 1994 and has been on the Committee as Secretary, President and immediate Past President since then. Readers of ‘Hibiscus Matters’ will also be familiar with her regular columns…”as you will see I am not a native of this area but I have always been fascinated by history and have always researched the area where I happen to live.  I always want to know what happened before I arrived.”

Terri Batten Courses

Terri is listed on shamanicteachers.com as a practitioner and teacher of courses including”Medicine for the Earth”.  For over thirty years Terri has studied with teachers from many traditions, including Ram Dass, Sandra Ingerman, Pema Chodron, Barbara Marx Hubbard, and Thomas Huebl.  Terri teaches spiritual non dual (Oneness), which includes and transcends all religions, cultures and countries.  




Hatha Yoga classes

Caroline Weetink is taking Hatha Yoga classes at the Ashram.  Beginning Tuesday 7th January, 2014.  Ph. (09) 426 5265.
