RUTH OLSEN 1.30 pm

“Early days on the Hibiscus Coast”

This afternoon we are delighted to welcome our speaker Ruth Olsen with accounts of people and places from along this special coastline.  Ruth joined the Historical Society on moving to Orewa in 1994 and has been on the Committee as Secretary, President and immediate Past President since then. Readers of ‘Hibiscus Matters’ will also be familiar with her regular columns…”as you will see I am not a native of this area but I have always been fascinated by history and have always researched the area where I happen to live.  I always want to know what happened before I arrived.”
